Create a yummy rich chocolate cake with the Bakels Mississippi Mud Cake Mix 4kg! This delicious 4kg mix can be used to create a delicious cake or batch of cupcakes!
You can use the Bakels Chocolate Pettina Flavouring Paste to enhance the flavour, but remember that the Bakels flavourings are concentrated so they are quite flavoursome and won't taste quite right prior to cooking or not mixed in with other ingredients.
BAKELS MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE MIX (PER 1KG)
Mix will approximately fill a 8 inch (20.32cm) x 3 inch (7.62cm) round cake tin.
Ingredients: 300mL water, 3 eggs, 125mL vegetable oill, 1/2 tbsp of Choc Pettina Paste OR 200g chocolate
Directions:
- If using chocolate, gently melt chocolate and vegetable oil together and allow to cool.
- Mix cake mix, eggs and water on low speed for 1 minute.
- Scrape down and add chocolate paste and oil OR chocolate and oil combination on medium speed for TWO minutes. Do not overmix.
- Bake at 150°C for approximately 2 hours. Test middle of cake with skewer and then allow to cool if done.
Cake Mix Ingredients: Sugar, Wheat flour (thiamine, folate), Cocoa powder (6%), Vegetable oil (antioxidant (307)), Vegetable fat (vegetable oil, emulsifiers (471,477), antioxidant (307)), Maltodextrin, Potato flour, Salt, Milk solids, Raising agents (341, 450, 500), Natural flavour, Vegetable gum (415).
Contains gluten and milk. May be present due to shared equipment: tree nuts, egg, soy and sulphites. Store below 25°C in clean, dry conditions and protected from direct sunlight.
